IMO’s range of highly flexible Cam Switches incorporates a unique building block system that allows for any number of switch variants to be built and supplied to the customer. Such is the flexibility of the Cam switches, that they can be utilised in countless applications including mains/ motor switching and control and instrumentation circuits.

The standard contact rating is 20A, though higher ratings are available on request, and the new switches have double interruption per pole and two contacts per cell. Standard units incorporate a 22.5mm central fixing for panel mounting. The switch body and actuators are supplied separately to provide a choice of four different set up configurations. Connection from actuator to switch body is made through a solid aluminium shaft. Our Cam switches can be supplied with 90, 60, 45 and 30 degree switching angles to meet our customers’ requirements.

Manufactured in accordance with IEC 60947-3, the new CAM switches carry an IP20 rating and have ‘finger proof’ screw terminals. The switch body is supplied complete with legend plate and all units are UL/CSA approved.
