24-Volt Power Supplies are common in nearly every industry. Numerous manufactures offer low cost 24- Volt isolated Power Supplies; however, most only accept a limited input voltage. With the increase in solar and wind applications, many systems need a power supply that can accept voltages as high as 1000VDC. The M3699 serves as a bridge between high voltage DC inputs and 24-Volt Power Supplies. The M3699 Voltage Limiter accepts input voltages of 90 – 1000VDC and outputs 175VDC, acceptable to many common 24VDC power supplies. This allows the use to commonly available, off-the-shelf power supplies with years of field exposure in new applications.
